Vecuronium bromide 生物活性

描述 Vecuronium Bromide is an aminosteriodal competitive neuromuscular blocking agent. It is used in general anesthesia as it causes muscle relaxation facilitating endotracheal intubation and to aid controlled ventilation. The pH 6 was found to be suitable for determination of VEC (Vecuronium Bromide) (pka = 8.97)[3]. Vecuronium (Bromide) produced a potent inhibition on the adult muscle-type acetylcholine receptor (IC50=8.7 nM) by competitive antagonism. Furthermore, at increasing acetylcholine concentrations, there was a significant decrease in the inhibition of the acetylcholine currents produced by 10 nM vecuronium[4].
