Rhyncholphylline 生物活性

描述 Rhynchophylline (Rhy) is a plant-derived indole alkaloid isolated from Uncaria species[3]. Rhy effectively obstructs the expansive signaling pathways of degenerative diseases, including Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease, epilepsy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and stimulates neurogenesis. Rhy altered expression level of BM-MSC proliferation/differentiation-related transcription genes[4]. Rhy can protect the neuronal cultures against MA (methamphetamine) exposure and promptly attenuate intracellular calcium overload triggered by MA challenge[5]. Rhy, which is blood-brain barrier permeable, is beneficial to amyloid pathology and regulates multiple molecular pathways[6]. Rhynchophylline can alleviate asthma through suppressing autophagy in asthma, and that JAK2/STAT3 signal was involved in this effect of rhynchophylline[7]. Rhy ameliorated MI/R (myocardial ischemia‑reperfusion) injury through the modulation of mitochondrial mechanisms[8].
