描述 Cy5-SE (Cy5 NHS Ester) and Cy5-SE (Cy5 NHS Ester) triethylamine salt, designed for amino-group labeling in peptides, proteins, and oligonucleotides, require minimal organic co-solvents for reaction. These dyes facilitate cost-effective labeling across a spectrum of biomolecules, functioning effectively in both aqueous and organic solvent environments for small molecule labeling (Excitation: 649 nm; Emission: 670 nm)[1].

CY5, under the Cyanine (CY) category, exhibits long-wavelength, tunable absorption and emission, high extinction coefficient, and good water solubility, simplifying the synthesis process.
