Afoxolaner 生物活性

描述	Afoxolaner, an oral isoxazoline targeting Ixodes scapularis in dogs, operates by hindering the uptake of chloride ions regulated by the γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and glutamate receptors, causing overexcitement and the eventual demise of the pest^[1].^[2].
体内研究	An initial oral dose close to the lowest effective quantity (2.5mg/kg) eradicates existing I. scapularis tick infestations and consistently manages weekly re-infestations, achieving effectiveness rates of 98% to 100% up to the 23rd day and 94% by the 30th day^[1].
