Maytansinol 生物活性

描述	Derived from Maytansine, Maytansinol (Ansamitocin P-0) possesses the capability to block tubulin polymerization and trigger cell apoptosis, showcasing antitumor efficacy suitable for oncological drug studies^[1].^[2].
体内研究	When added to food in concentrations of 2 μM and 10 μM for 1-2 hours, Maytansinol disrupts microtubule structures in Drosophila. Furthermore, administering Maytansinol (0.5-2 μM in food for 10 days) reduces survival rates in both wild-type and p53 mutant larvae. Also, Maytansinol (1 or 2 μM, mixed with food for 24-26 hours) induces apoptosis in Drosophila wild-type cells^[2].
体外研究	At concentrations ranging from 0.09 to 0.75 nM over 24 hours, Maytansinol effectively diminishes both growth and viability of HCT116 cells in a concentration-responsive manner^[2].
