Thio-TEPA is an alkylating agent used to treat cancer, this molecule features tetrahedral phosphorus and is structurally akin to phosphate.

描述 Thio-TEPA demonstrates alkylating effects during the incubation of rat liver slices without compromising their viability or accumulating within the slices at concentrations of 2, 5, 10 mM[1].
体内研究

Combining Thio-TEPA (20 mg/kg, intraperitoneally) with total body irradiation (TBI) enhances donor-type blood chimerism more effectively in the initial 10 weeks compared to the TBI-only group. Thio-TEPA alone also boosts both the immediate and prolonged engraftment in mice[2].
