描述

beta-Amyrin acetrate, a natural cannabinoid receptor isolated and purified from the herbs of Alstonia boone, shows significant HMG-CoA-reductase and sEH inhibitory activities. beta-Amyrin acetate has cytotoxicity and a high antioxidant potential with an IC50 value of 158.2ug/mL, and could be a viable source of antioxidant and cytotoxic agents in cancer chemotherapy in the near future. It also has anti-inflammatory activity, with ID50 values in the range of 0.15-0.75 mM/ear, and exhibits weak-moderate antiproliferative activity against the A2780 human ovarian cancer cell line.
