描述	Methimazole is a well-known antithyroid agent utilized primarily for the treatment and study of hyperthyroidism. Alongside its therapeutic use, methimazole is recognized for its significant hepatotoxicity, which is a major concern during its clinical application^[1].^[2].
体外研究	Furthermore, methimazole has been found to inhibit the secretion of CXC chemokine ligand 10 in human thyrocytes, highlighting its impact on immune modulation in thyroid cells^[3].
