描述 Hydroxyethyl cellulose is utilized to stabilize graphene oxide in physiological solutions, making the resulting nanohybrid suitable for targeted drug delivery. It effectively stabilizes graphene oxide in electrolyte solutions, with the stabilization mechanism depending on the content of hydroxyethyl cellulose. The amount of hydroxyethyl cellulose present is crucial for its final application, whether as a carrier for controlled drug release or as a folate-targeted drug carrier[1]. Additionally, hydroxyethyl cellulose exhibits significant cryoprotective effects on lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) during freeze-thaw cycles and substantial lyoprotective effects during the freeze-drying process. Although annealing has limited impact on its stabilizing effects, the lengthy reconstitution times of hydroxyethyl cellulose lyophilisates can be significantly enhanced by incorporating the surfactant Tween 80 into the formulations before freeze-drying[2].
