描述

Frentizole is an immunosuppressant approved by the FDA and inhibits the interaction between Aβ and ABAD with an IC50 of 200 µM, finding use in research on rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus^[1].^[2].^[3].

体内研究

In young mice, Frentizole dosed at 8.2 or 79.9 mg/kg/day through their feed for a year prolongs the lifespan of NZB/NZW mice^[2].

体外研究

At 500 ng/mL over 48 hours, Frentizole effectively blocks thymidine incorporation into DNA in lymphocyte cultures with mitogens, significantly reducing the response to concanavalin A by 58% in a dose-responsive manner in lymphocytes from the peritoneal cavity of mice^[1].

Frentizole at 62.5 ng/mL efficiently halts uridine incorporation, with the effect being independent of the phytochemical utilized^[1].
