描述 Enzalutamide carboxylic acid (MDV3100 carboxylic acid) is identified as an inactive metabolite of Enzalutamide (MDV3100), an androgen receptor (AR) antagonist[1].
体外研究

Metabolic transformation of Enzalutamide involves cytochrome P450 enzymes, specifically CYP3A4/5 and CYP2C8. These enzymes convert Enzalutamide into its major metabolites: N-desmethyl Enzalutamide and carboxylic acid Enzalutamide. While N-desmethyl Enzalutamide retains clinically relevant anti-androgen properties akin to Enzalutamide, the carboxylic acid variant is pharmacologically inactive[1].
