Col003 生物活性

描述

Hsp47 is an endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-resident collagen-specific molecular chaperone essential for correct folding of procollagen in the ER. Thus, Hsp47 could be a potential and promising target for the management of fibrosis. Col003 is a potent inhibitor of the interaction between Hsp47 and collagen with an IC₅₀ of 1.8 μM. In vivo, col003 (100 μM) inhibited collagen secretion, triple helix formation, and accumulation in the ECM^[2].

Col003 competitively binds to the collagen-binding site on Hsp47^[2].
