Blebbistatin 生物活性

描述 Blebbistatin, a selective non-muscle myosin II (NMII) inhibitor, enhances directional migration of corneal endothelial cells (CECs), accelerates wound healing, and preserves cell junctional integrity and barrier function. It impedes cell migration [1][2].
体内研究

Blebbistatin (0.05 mL, 20 μM; intracameral injection; daily; for 6 days; New Zealand white rabbits) facilitates wound healing in a rabbit corneal endothelial scraping model [1].
体外研究

Investigating the therapeutic potential of targeting NMII to boost CEC migration, blebbistatin promotes migration and directional persistence in CECs, thus expediting wound healing in vitro by reducing actin retrograde flow and increasing lamellipodial protrusion persistence [1].
