Acitretin is an analog of retinoid that can activate α-secretase ADAM10 gene expression. It has been used in the treatment of severe psoriasis.

Acitretin 生物活性

描述	Acitretin (Ro 10-1670) is a second-generation systemic retinoid primarily utilized for treating psoriasis. It has also been explored for potential use in Alzheimer’s disease research^[1].^[2].^[3].
体内研究	In an experimental setting involving Alzheimer’s disease model mice, a seven-day regimen of acitretin administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 10 mg/kg was found to increase IL-6 levels in the central nervous system, indicating its influence on inflammatory processes within the brain^[3].
