SMCC 生物活性

描述	SMCC serves as a protein crosslinker. Antigen-specific immune reactions are triggered when spleen cells are bonded with an SMCC-conjugated antigen^[1].
体内研究	The method involving SMCC-conjugation can induce strong immune reactions against complete proteins or peptide antigens through the administration of antigen-linked syngeneic splenic mononuclear cells to mice^[1].
体外研究	SMCC or sulfo-SMCC can be used to link keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) and ovalbumin (OVA). In this system, 300 μl of KLH or OVA (3 mg) combined with 30 μl of SMCC or Sulfo-SMCC (at a concentration of 0.1 mM) is added to PBS to make up a total volume of 3 ml^[1].
