Rhodamine 6G 生物活性

描述 Rhodamine dyes, known for their membrane-permeable and cationic properties, are specific to mitochondrial membrane potentials and are utilized to label mitochondria in various cell types due to their low cellular toxicity[1].
体内研究

Mice implanted with melanoma and treated with Rhodamine 6G show increased survival rates, improved clinical parameters, and reduced tumor growth and metastasis counts. A twice-weekly regimen of 10-6M Rhodamine 6G demonstrates the most significant effects[2].

Once introduced into the circulatory system, Rhodamine-6G marks leukocytes, enabling the observation of changes in leukocyte interactions with the endothelium through the quantification of rolling and adhering leukocytes, as well as their overall movement[3].
