描述	MS15203 is a potent, selective GPR171 agonist. MS15203 increases neuronal activity and increases food intake and body weight in animals^[1].MS15203 dose-dependently increases the activity of [^[35]S]GTPγS binding protein and inhibits adenylate cyclase activity in rat hypothalamic membranes^[1].

MS15203 动物研究

Animal study

Administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 3 mg/kg, MS15203 increased the abundance of mRNAs encoding proSAAS, NPY, and AgRP, which led to an increase in neuronal activity in GPR171-containing cells in the retina of the hypothalamus, and significantly increased food intake of the animals at both 4 and 8 hours^[1].
