JC124 生物活性

描述	JC124 is a specific NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor that selectively inhibits the formation of NLRP3 inflammasomes and caspase-1 activation, and reduces IL-1β in vitro. JC124 has anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects^[1].

JC124 动物研究

Animal study

Treatment with JC124 (100 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection; 4 doses; 30 min post-injury, 6, 24 and 30 h post-traumatic brain injury) significantly reduced the number of neurons with injury-induced degeneration, the inflammatory cell response in the injured brain, and the volume of cortical lesions in the rats. JC124 also markedly reduced the number of neurons with injury-induced degeneration, inflammatory cell response in the injured brain, and the volume of cortical lesions in the rats. JC124 can also significantly reduce the protein expression levels of NLRP3, ASC, IL-1 beta, TNFα, iNOS and caspase-1^[1].
