CX 614 生物活性

描述

CX614 is a positively mutated modulator of AMPA receptors that enhances excitatory postsynaptic potentials (amplitude and duration) by blocking and slowing down inactivation of the response to glutamate and automatically evokes excitatory postsynaptic currents in neuronal cultures. CX614 can be used in the study of psychiatric disorders, such as depression^[1]^[2].At a concentration of 100 μM, CX 614 enhances the apparent affinity of glutamate , increases glutamate-evoked inward currents, and enhances the peak glutamate response in HEK293 cells at 3.5 and 10 mM^[1].

Animal study

Administered intraperitoneally twice daily at doses of 1 or 10 mg/kg, CX 614 significantly increased BDNF mRNA in the hippocampus and cortex of P5 mice^[2].
