体外研究

The use of 5-FAM SE in capillary electrophoresis (CE) coupled with laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) allows for the sensitive quantification of serotonin (5-HT), highlighting CFSE as an optimal dye for 5-HT derivatization. This method enables high-sensitivity detection of luminally released 5-HT[1].

In research focusing on pheomelanin, 5-FAM SE is selected for the precapillary derivatization of aminohydroxyphenylalanine (AHP) isomers generated from pheomelanin after reductive hydrolysis using hydriodic acid (HI). This application underscores 5-FAM SE’s utility in complex biochemical analyses[2].
