3,3'-Di-O-methylellagic acid 生物活性

描述

3,8-Di-O-methylellagic acid, a natural product isolated and purified from the peels of Punica granatum L. with antibacterial, glucose transport inhibitory and DPPH radical scavenging activities, exhibits potent induction of neuronal differentiation in neurosphere stem cells with no cytotoxic effect, indicates that they may be useful as pharmacological agents for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. It also has a lower capacity of stimulating murine peritoneal macrophages to release nitric oxide and tumoural-alpha necrose factor.
