描述
Vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) is a transmembrane protein that regulates the packaging and subsequent release of monoamine neurotransmitter molecules from neuronal vesicles into synapses. Tetrabenazine is a reversible inhibitor of VMAT2 that inhibits [3 H]serotonin transport by VMAT2 with an IC50 value of ~300nM[3] [4]
