Oxypurinol 生物活性

描述	Oxipurinol is a principal active metabolite of Allopurinol, functions as a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It plays a critical role in managing blood urate levels and is employed in the treatment of gout^[1].
体外研究	Allopurinol undergoes rapid metabolism, with an approximate half-life of 1 hour, to oxipurinol. Unlike Allopurinol, oxipurinol targets xanthine oxidoreductase and is characterized by a significantly prolonged elimination half-life of about 23 hours^[1].
