Indole-3-butyric acid 生物活性

描述

Indole-3-butyric acid is a plant growth auxin and rooting agent, promoting rooting in herbs and woody plants, and enhancing fruit rate. It converts to indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) through peroxisomal β-oxidation^[1].

体外研究

At 10 μM, indole-3-butyric acid induces adventitious root formation in thin cell layers (TCLs)^[2].

At 1 μM, indole-3-butyric acid promotes lateral root formation by enhancing NO production in Arabidopsis^[3].
