Ceftazidime 生物活性

描述 Ceftazidime (GR20263) is an antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative aerobic bacteria. It shows effectiveness against Enterobacteriaceae, including β-lactamase-positive strains, and is resistant to hydrolysis by most β-lactamases[1].
体内研究

A regimen of ceftazidime involving a 2-hour infusion of 2000 mg, administered every 8 hours for 24 hours, moderately reduces bacterial density in a murine thigh infection model[4].
体外研究

Ceftazidime (0-8 μg/mL, over 24 hours) exhibits both antibacterial and anti-biofilm properties against P. aeruginosa strains[2].

Ceftazidime (0-40 μg/mL, for 18-20 hours) demonstrates inhibitory effects on S. maltophilia isolates[3].
