描述 LY2389575 hydrochloride is a selective and non-competitive mGlu3 negative allosteric modulator (NAM) with an IC50 value of 190 nM. LY2389575 hydrochloride induces an increase in the level of Mrc1. LY2389575 hydrochloride also independently amplifies the toxicity of amyloid beta (Aβ), which can be used in Alzheimer's disease research[1][2][3].At a concentration of 5 μM, treatment for 1 hour, LY2389575 hydrochloride induces elevated levels of Mrc1 in microglia[2].
