描述 | 3-Methoxybenzamide (3-MBA), an inhibitor of ADP-ribosyltransferase, inhibits cell division in Bacillus subtilis, leading to filamentation and eventually lysis of cells. 3-Methoxybenzamide (0-30 mM) affects septation via the FtsZ system during both vegetative growth and sporulation[2]. 3-methoxybenzamide, new inhibitors of the nuclear enzyme poly(ADP-ribose) synthetase, with Ki values or less than 2 microM[3]. 3-Methoxybenzamide (3-MBA) enhances in vitro plant growth, microtuberization, and transformation efficiency of blue potato (Solanum tuberosum L. subsp. andigenum). 3-Methoxybenzamide (3 MB; 0.2 to 0.6 mM) significantly increaseS the growth and microtuber formation of in vitro propagated plants[4]. 3-MB (3-Methoxybenzamide) inhibits illegitimate recombination and has no effect on extrachromosomal homologous recombination in mouse Ltk- cells[5]. Whereas ADP-ribosylation of H2A and H2B is sensitive to inhibition by 3-methoxybenzamide, as with most other nuclear acceptor proteins, the modification of H3 and H4 is not inhibited[6]. |
