描述 Oxomemazine, a phenothiazine-based histamine H1-receptor antagonist, exhibits significant antimuscarinic effects. It acts as a selective antagonist for the muscarinic M1 receptor, demonstrating approximately a 20-fold difference in affinity between high (Ki = 84 nM, M1 receptor) and low (Ki = 1.65 μM, M2 receptor) affinity sites[1]. Oxomemazine, an antihistamine and anticholinergic agent, is employed for researching cough treatment[2].
