描述 7-Amino-4-methylcoumarin, a member of the coumarin family, is derived from the endophytic fungus Xylaria sp. and exhibits broad antimicrobial activity. It is widely used as a laser dye emitting blue light, and as a fluorescent probe for analyzing glycoproteins’ monosaccharides and N-linked oligosaccharides, with excitation and emission wavelengths of 351 nm and 430 nm, respectively. This compound's versatility extends its use in scientific research, particularly in the fields of microbiology and bioanalytical chemistry[1].
