描述 | Tracheloside is a lignan glycoside isolated from the seeds of Trachelospermum jasminoides with anti-estrogenic activity. It has been shown to decreased the activity of alkaline phosphatase in Ishiwaka cells with an IC50 value of 0.31μg/mL[3]. Treatment of HaCaT cells with tracheloside at 1, 5, and 10μg/mL increased cell proliferation rate by 13.98%, 18.82%, and 17.94%, respectively. Tracheloside treatment (1, 5, and 10μg/mL) also increased cell healing activity by 38.14%, 106.13%, and 72.83%, respectively, compared to the control group. Also in HaCaT cells, tracheloside treatment at 1, 5, and 10μg/mL led to 1.3-, 1.67-, and 2.73-fold increase in the phosphorylation of ERK1/2, respectively[4]. In Sprague-Dawley rats, diet supplementation with 0.2% or 0.02% tracheloside did not significantly affect PhIP (100mg/kg body weight)-induced mammary carcinogenesis[5]. |
