描述 Sinomenine, a nature compound existing in sinomenium acutum, has many biological activity, such as anti-cancer activity. In vitro studies, sinomenine HCl could inhibit the growth, migration, invasiveness and angiogenesis in clear-cell renal cell carcinoma cells[1]. Besides this, it was found that sinomenium acutum could also suppress the viability of U87 and SF767 cell, through ROS generation and autophagy-lysosome pathway activation[2]. In vivo studies, sinomenine HCl has the ability of improving survival, reducing organ damage and attenuating the release of inflammatory cytokines in BALB/c mice with sepsis induced by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP), partially by regulating autophagy activities[3]. In addition, sinomenine HCl could contribute to the improvement of some clinical symptoms in rat model of renal fibrosis, induced by adriamycin[4].
