描述 Panaxatriol is a natural product. Panaxatriol (200 mg/kg/d, 3 weeks) can relieve myelosuppression induced by radiation injury[3]. Panaxatriol exerts dosedependent cytotoxic effects on prostate DU-15 cancer cells. The IC50 of panaxatriol was 30 μM. Additionally, panaxatriol induced sub-G1 cell cycle arrest and suppressed the DU-15 cell migration ability in a concentration-dependent manner[4]. PT (Panaxatriol) reduced tumor cell invasion through a reconstituted basement membrane in the transwell chamber. Increased GR (glucocorticoid receptor) in the nucleus of HT1080 human fibrosarcoma cells treated by PT. GR-induced down-regulation of MMP-9 by PT contributes to reduce the invasive capacity of HT1080 cells[5]. Aerobic exercise and PT (Panaxatriol) ingestion may contribute to maintain skeletal muscle mass through the amelioration of insulin resistance[6].
