描述 | Sodium 4-aminosalicylate dihydrate (4-Aminosalicylic acid sodium salt dihydrate) is one of the antimycobacterial drugs currently used for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis[3]. 5-Chlorosalicylic acid (5Cl) and sodium 4-aminosalicylate (4A) were the most effective ligands for synthesizing silver complexes with high levels of antibacterial activity[4]. Mimicking the host environment in terms of iron availability should be considered for in vitro susceptibility testing of mycobacteria, especially for antibiotics interfering with iron metabolism, such as 4-aminosalicylate[5]. |
