描述 Chlorogenic acid is a phenolic compound from the hydroxycinnamic acid family and possesses many health-promoting properties such as anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, antilipidemic, antidiabetic, and antihypertensive activities.in vivo, Mice were treated with vehicle, 250 mg/kg BW oral gavage metformin or 250 mg/kg BW chlorogenic acid intraperitoneally daily for 2 weeks.Chlorogenic acid inhibited hepatic glucose-6-phosphatase expression and activity, decreased hepatic steatosis, improved lipid profiles and skeletal muscle glucose uptake[3].Moreover, Chlorogenic acid enhances the thermogenesis and proton leak of brown adipocytes and increases the number and the function of mitochondrial[4].
