生物活性
描述 Phytohemagglutinin M (PHAM) has been purified from the commercial mixture of proteins produced by Phaseolus vulgaris, using a Sepharose-thyroglobulin column[4]. 17 µM ENDO (endosulfan) inhibited phytohemagglutinin-M (PHA)-induced human PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cells ) proliferation[5]. Proliferative activity of lymphocytes when stimulated with pokeweed mitogen, Concanavalin A and Phytohemagglutinin, M form did not differ depending on the dietary protein concentration and quality[6]. Stimulation with PHA-M enhanced total labeled cells in early pregnancy. In contrast, PHA-M had no such effects in mid-pregnancy[7].
