描述 Decanedioic acid, found in royal jelly, is a kind of fatty acids and has many biological activities. In vitro studies, it was found that decanedioic acid had good anti-inflammatory activity in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages model through the inhibition of some special inflammatory cytokines and the regulation of MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways[1]. Besides this, decanedioic acid only has three to five of the low affinity sites for binding to defatted human plasma albumin[2]. In vivo studies, decanedioic acid could contribute to the improvement of type 2 diabetes in mouse, possibly through increasing the glucose-induced insulin secretion and the inhibition of hepatic glucose output[3].
