生物活性
描述 6-Gingerol, a pungent oil of fresh ginger, reduces biofilm formation and virulence by antagonistically binding to P. aeruginosa QS receptors. The height of the biofilm formed with 10 μM and 0 μM 6-gingerol was ~12 and ~25 μm, respectively. The growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was slightly inhibited by 0.1-100 μ m 6-gingerol[3]. Moreover,6-gingerol exhibited protective effects on apoptosis induced by Aβ1–42 in cultured PC12 cells by reducing oxidative stress and inflammatory responses, suppressing the activation of GSK-3β and enhancing the activation of Akt[4].
