描述 L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate sesquimagnesium salt hydrate is a vitamin derivative that stimulates collagen formation and expression[1].L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate sesquimagnesium salt hydrate can be used as a medium supplement for osteogenic differentiation of human adipose stem cells (hASCs). During osteogenic differentiation, L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate sesquimagnesium salt hydrate increased alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity and runx2A expression in human adipose stem cells[2][3].The addition of L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate sesquimagnesium salt hydrate significantly stimulated cell growth while the addition of L-ascorbic acid (Asc) only achieved weak growth stimulation at concentrations of 0.1-1.5 mM with medium changes every 2 to 3 days for 2-3 weeks[1].Effective osteogenic differentiation of human adipose stem cells (hASCs) requires L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate sesquimagnesium salt hydrate (50 µM-250 µM), and higher concentrations of AsA2-P increase runx2 expression and ALP activity. 150 µM AsA2-P and 10 nM concentration of dexamethasone and 250 µM AsA2-P or 5 nM concentration of dexamethasone resulted in the highest proliferation, ALP activity and runx2 expression[3].
