描述 2-Hydroxychalcone, a natural flavonoid, is a potent antioxidant that inhibits lipid peroxidation. 2-Hydroxychalcone induces apoptosis through down-regulation of Bcl-2. 2-Hydroxychalcone also inhibits the activation of NF-kB[1][2][3].2-Hydroxychalcone inhibits the adhesion of peripheral neutrophils to endothelial cell monolayers in a concentration-dependent manner by inhibiting the expression of ICAM-1, VCAM-1 and E-selectin[2].
