描述 | Auxinole is a potent auxin antagonist of TIR1/AFB receptors, binding TIR1 to block the formation of the TIR1-IAA-Aux/IAA (indole 3-acetic acid) complex and so inhibits auxin-responsive gene expression. Additionally, auxinole blocks auxin responses of the moss Physcomitrella patens, suggesting activity over a broad range of species[1]. The use of an OsTIR1 inhibitor, auxinole, to suppress leaky degradation of degron-fused proteins[2]. AUX1-mediated IAA transport, as well as IAA- triggered calcium signals, are blocked by treatment with the SCFTIR1/AFB - inhibitor auxinole[3]. |
