描述 | Adenosine 5'-monophosphate monohydrate functions as an agonist for the adenosine A1 receptor[1]. In cell studies using RAW264.7 cells, Adenosine 5'-monophosphate monohydrate demonstrates minimal cytotoxicity at concentrations ranging from 25 to 400 μM. Notably, it significantly reduces mRNA levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in a dose-dependent manner, with the most substantial suppression observed at 400 μM. Additionally, it impedes the recruitment of the NF-κB p65 subunit to the promoters of TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β genes, thereby inhibiting their expression[2]. |
