描述 Tomatidine, a natural product isolated and purified from the fruits of Lycopersicon esculentum Mill., shows antibiotic activity against small-colony variants of S. aureus, significantly suppresses the activity of ACAT and leads to reduction of atherogenesis. It also inhibits the phosphorylation of ERK, Akt, and the nuclear content of NF-κB.
