生物活性
描述 Diclofenac potassium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which is used to reduce inflammation and relieve pain in some cases. Most strains of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria were inhibited by 50-100 mg/l of the anti-inflammatory agent, diclofenac sodium (Dc). In vivo test using 30 or 50 mg Dc per 20 g mouse significantly (P <0.001) protected the animals when challenged with 50 MLD of a virulent Salmonella typhimurium. The anti-bacterial action of Dc was found to be due to inhibition of DNA synthesis which was demonstrated using 2 micro Ci (3H) deoxythymidine uptake[3]. Premedication by a single, oral dose of 50 mg DFK (diclofenac potassium) could be effective in reducing postendodontic pain at 48 hours after 1-visit endodontic treatment in mandibular molars with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis[4]. Diclofenac potassium is effective in relieving menstrual pain and restoring physical performance to levels achieved when the women were in the late-follicular (no menstruation, no pain) phase of the menstrual cycle[5].
