描述 | Sinapine thiocyanate is an alkaloid isolated from seeds of the cruciferous species. Sinapine thiocyanate exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-tumor, anti-angiogenic and radio-protective effects. Sinapine (6 or 60 μM; 1 h) counteracts H2O2 and antimycin A-induced mitochondrial oxidative stress in cardiomyocytes[3]. ST (Sinapine Thiocyanate) not only protected vascular endothelial function in SHRs (spontaneously hypertensive rats) by inhibiting the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome and the expression of related inflammatory mediators, but also improved AngII-induced huvec injury[4]. The combination of sinapine and doxorubicin had a synergistic effect and increased the cytotoxicity of doxorubicin against Caco-2 cells. Doxorubicin accumulation assay showed that sinapine increased the intracellular accumulation of doxorubicin in dose-dependent manner. Sinapine played an important role in the down-regulation of P-gp expression through suppression of FGFR4-FRS2α-ERK1/2 signaling pathway[5]. Furthermore, sinapine provided plasmid DNA (pBR322) protection, from 2,2'-azobis(2-amidinopropane) dihydrochloride and inhibited acetylcholinesterase activity by 85%[6]. |
