生物活性
描述 L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate trisodium is a long-acting vitamin C derivative that stimulates collagen formation and expression[1].L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate trisodium can be used as a medium supplement for osteogenic differentiation of human adipose stem cells (hASCs). During osteogenic differentiation, L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate trisodium increased alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity and runx2A expression in human adipose stem cells[2][3].L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate trisodium can significantly stimulate cell growth by adding L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate trisodium to the culture medium at a concentration of 0.1-1.5 mM for 2 to 3 weeks, changing the culture medium every 2 to 3 days, whereas the addition of l-ascorbic acid (Asc) could only achieve weak growth stimulation. The combination of Asc-2P and bFGF significantly promoted cell growth, but supplementation with EGF and/or insulin did not have any additional effect [1]. L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate trisodium is required for the efficient osteogenic differentiation of human adipose stem cells (hASCs) and acts at concentrations of 50 µM-250 µM, with higher concentrations of AsA2-P leading to increased runx2 expression and ALP activity. 150 µM AsA2-P and 10 nM concentrations of dexamethasone and 250 µM AsA2-P and 5 nM concentration of dexamethasone resulted in the highest proliferation, ALP activity and runx2 expression[3].
