描述 | N-1-Naphthylphthalamic acid is a polar phytochemical transporter regulator that competes with phytochemicals (indole-3-acetic acid, IAA) for membrane-binding sites. N-1-Naphthylphthalamic acid also interferes with maize leaf emergence, regulation of KNOX proteins, and the formation of leaf margins[1].After 1 hour of treatment, N-1-Naphthylphthalamic acid stimulated the net uptake of [(3)H]IAA into maize leaflet tissues at concentrations of less than 10 μM, and inhibited the uptake of [(3)H]IAA and [(14)C]benzoic acid at concentrations of greater than 100 μM[2]. |
