描述 | The anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) is a large multi-subunit complex that functions as a RING domain E3 ubiquitin ligase to regulate transitions through the cell cycle, achieved by controlling the defined ubiquitin-dependent degradation of specific cell cycle regulators[1]. Tos-Arg-OMe HCl (TAME) is a kind of amino acid derivatives, is a substrate for trypsin, plasmin, thrombin, and other proteases. It is also an inhibitor of anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C or APC), which binds to APC/C and prevents its activation by Cdc20 and Cdh1, produces mitotic arrest[2]. Cell surface Tos-Arg-OMe esterase activity was inhibited by aprotinin, benzamidine, pentamidine, and a tris-amidine derivative (alpha,alpha',alpha''-tris(3-amidinophenoxy)mesitylene)[3]. Acetone-kaolin activation of plasma produced the expected 30-fold increase in Tos-Arg-OMe esterase activity but no change in immunoreactive tissue kallikrein levels[4]. |
