| 描述 | Alpha-Asarone is a major bioactive component isolated from Acorus gramineus, an herbal medicine that possesses anti-oxidant, anti-hyperlipidemic and anti-inflammatory effects. Alpha-Asarone exhibited acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory effect in a dose dependent manner. The values of 18.5%, 28.9%, and 66.0% were obtained for tested concentrations of 0.25, 0.5, and 1 mg/ml, respectively.in vivo, hyperlocomotion could be alleviated by administration (10 mg/kg for 15 days) of alpha-Asarone in fragile X mental retardation gene (Fmr1) knockout (KO) mice, which had observable disturbances in the striatal cholinergic system[3]. | ||
