生物活性
描述 Melatonin Biotin is compound conjunct melatonin with biotin. Melatonin inhibits the inflammation and apoptosis in rats with diabetic retinopathy by repressing the MAPK (mitogen-activated protein kinase) pathway[1]. Melatonin application had no significant effect on leptin production in the kidney tissues of diabetic rats[2]. Melatonin (1.25, 5, 20 mg/kg) protects against AIF(apoptosis-inducing factor)-dependent cell death during APAP (Acetaminophen)-induced acute liver failure through its direct inhibition of hepatic RIP1 (receptor interacting protein 1) and subsequent JNK (c-Jun N-terminal kinase) phosphorylation and mitochondrial Bax translocation[3]. VD3 (1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3) combined with Mel (Melatonin) significantly reduced apoptotic and histological alterations when compared with Mel or VD3 alone[4].
