描述 CMC2.24 is an orally active tricarbonylmethane agent that is effective against pancreatic tumours in mice by inhibiting Ras activation and its downstream effector ERK1/2 pathway. CMC2.24 is also a potent inhibitor of zinc-dependent MMPs, with IC50 values ranging from 2-69 μM. CMC2.24 restores chondrogenic homeostasis via the NF-κB/HIF-2α axis and CMC2.24 can restore cartilage homeostasis through the NF-κB/HIF-2α axis and inhibit chondrocyte apoptosis, thereby alleviating the progression of osteoarthritis[1][2][3].CMC2.24 reduces p-STAT3-Ser727 levels and induces mitochondrial reactive oxygen species and mitochondrial cell death in pancreatic cancer cells. CMC2.24 induces mitochondrial reactive oxygen species and intrinsic cell apoptosis. CMC2.24 inhibits the growth of pancreatic cancer in vitro at concentrations of 0-60 μM for 24 hours[1].
